Summary
-------

Precipitating stratocumulus at times giving way to open cumulus structures

Description
-----------

An extended and multi-day (November 15th - 16th) event that features closed stratocumulus having a brief transition to open cell behaviors towards the end of November 15th. The widespread stratocumulus conditions reformed overnight by approximately 03 UTC on November 16th. The low and cloud-level winds for this event were out of the northeast to east, and did not vary much throughout this event. Signatures of drizzle were observed, as well as precipitation that reached the surface. Inversion height at approximately 1.3 km AGL at the start of the event.
