Summary
A widespread and persistent closed cloud deck under weak flow
Description
This event featured a relatively widespread and persistent stratocumulus cloud deck under weak southerly flow. There were intervals of more intense drizzling cloud conditions prior to midday, as well as towards the end of the event. Upper-level clouds were observed advecting over the region from the west, however these high clouds remain north and west of the primary Azores modeling domain. Inversion height at approximately 2.0 km AGL.
